Hi, I'm Elena

I'm a health coach working in Twickenham and online

My own health journey led me into health coaching, as I have witnessed first hand the power of small, daily habit changes in my own life.

Movement
I've learnt to love movement, from small beginnings with Couch to 5k in 2015, through to a full triathlon (hopefully!) in 2025, and onwards to strength training as I try to stay on top of the ageing process in my late 50s.  Building and maintaining fitness has been a slow and steady progression that's become an important part of my life. 
My main insight?  It's never too late to start!

Nutrition

A routine NHS blood test revealed my cholesterol levels were heading towards the danger zone.  This came as a real shock as I  thought I had a very healthy diet.  I worried that I'd need to drastically change my eating habits, but after learning more, I discovered that some small, sustainable changes were all that was needed to get me back on track.  A long overdue look at my relationship with alcohol, a few switches on the saturated fat front and some simple cooking choices have delivered results in under a year.
The upshot?  Patience and commitment trumps crash diets and fads.

Purpose
Looking after our mental health is just as important as looking after our physical health.  Once the kids had flown the nest, I was left wondering what next for me?  I was drawn to health coaching as a way of connecting with others, investing in myself and reigniting my love of learning.  I'm now passionate about all things health coaching and enjoy nothing more than helping clients to live their happiest and healthiest lives!
In summary, work out your goals, but more than that, enjoy the ride.
